Perham Area Gymnastics Progressive Rec Program
Gymnasts in the Perham Area Gymnastics Academy Progressive Rec Program are separated by ability.  Gymnasts are taught skills on vault, bars, beam, floor, and tumble-trak.  Skills are taught in a logical progression, moving from basic to more complex skills based on each child's physical and mental readiness.  All gymnasts are evaluated in the middle to end of each session to determine their level for the next session.  

10 weeks/session     Ages 5 and up          60 Minutes/Class
$95/class one time/week          $180/class two times/week
Prices include the entire 10 week session

Class Description

Beginners - 5 yrs & up
This class teaches basic tumbling skills (forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, handstands, etc.) and basics on vault, bars, balance beam.  Along with terminology of basic gymnastics. Students can join this class with little or no previous gymnastics experience. Must pass to move up to Level 1.

Advance Beginners (Level 1) - 7 yrs & up
This class is for students who have passed the Beginner class or have been evaluated into this level.  Students begin to work more advanced skills and progressions in tumbling, vault, bars, balance beam, and tumble trak.

Intermediate Beginners (Level 2) - 7 yrs & up
This class is for students who have passed the Advanced Beginner Level 1 class or have been evaluated into this level.  Students will work on front and back handsprings and other tumbling skills in addition to more advanced skills on vault, bars, balance beam, tumble-trak.

Perham Area Gymnastics Tots Rec Program
Is your little one jumping on furniture, rolling around your living room and trying to swing on everything?  At Perham Area Gymnastics Academy, we provide a fun place for your child to safely learn gymnastics skills while interacting with other children their age.
The goal of our program is to introduce gymnastics while teaching basic body awareness through movement.  Students will be introduced to basic tumbling, bars, balance beam, tumble-trak, and a variety of other activities that will help with strength, coordination, flexibility and fine & gross motor skill development.  Each week, and from session to session, we vary the lesson plan to continue to challenge each child in a fun, new way.  We provide a positive environment for confidence building experience and growth!

10 weeks/session     Ages 18months to 4 yrs          45 Minutes/Class
$85/class one time/week          $160/class two times/week

Class Description


Parent/Tots -18 months or walking to 2 Yrs old
This class will include a variety of fundamental activities in a fun gymnastics environment.  The parent will guide the child through various instructor-led activities.  In addition to the development of fine and gross motor skills, this is a fun way for your little one to interact with you and other Tots.

Tiny Tots - 3 to 4 Yrs old
Basic tumbling progression are taught along with apparatus activities based on each child's readiness.  Apparatus include bars, balance beam, floor, tumble-trak, etc.  Students will also be challenged in a series of obstacle course to help build strength and flexibility. We ask that all parents wait in the lobby for their child while their child attends class.
